Recent afternoon at Salford Skills. It was a highly productive and rewarding session focused on health promotion and engagement with ESOL students.
Rebecca, Michelle, the new trainee GP, and I spoke with a large number of students about a range of important health topics, including cervical screening, breast screening, sexually transmitted infections, relationships and sexual health, and mental health.
In addition to delivering health promotion information, we were also able to build valuable connections with other services, strengthening partnership working and supporting improved access to care for the students.
